Academic Vita

Mona Wischhoff studied Cultural Theory & History and Business Administration at the University of Cologne, the Leuphana University Lüneburg and the Humboldt University Berlin. From 2013 to 2016 she worked as a research assistant at the Tieranatomisches Theater – Laboratory for Research-Based Exhibition Practice at the Hermann von Helmholtz Center for Cultural Techniques at the Humboldt University Berlin and as an editor of the journal Stadtaspekte. Die dritte Seite der Stadt. From 2016 to 2018, Mona Wischhoff was a member of the opening team of the Museum Barberini in Potsdam (as a research assistant). With her dissertation on lantern slight lectures, she was a fellow of the Research Training Group Witnessing. Epistemes of a Media and Cultural Practice from 2018 to 2022. Since August 2022 she is a researcher and lecturer at the Institute for Film, Theater, Media, and Culture Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
